School Improvement Supervisor, Tracy Hudson
Tracy Hudson, a native of Mobile, AL is a School Improvement Supervisor for Escambia County Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Stillman College and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. She also holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Elementary Education and has an Educational Leadership (Administration) certification. She has been in the field of education for 24 years.
Throughout Tracy’s 24 years in education, she has held various leadership positions of increasing academic achievement. Tracy has served as a classroom teacher, school-based Reading Coach, district- level Reading Coach, Alabama State Department of Education Staff, Professional Development Specialist and School Improvement Specialist. The variety of positions Tracy has held is an example of her amazing personality. She is a change agent, who is an innovative, visionary leader who looks to promote school improvement by facilitating, training, providing professional development, and ensuring implementation of the school improvement plan.
Active in her community for many years, Tracy serves as a choir member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church. She is the owner of Innovative Professional Literacy Education, LLC where she provides tutoring service to students’ grade K-12 in the area of reading. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., a service sorority founded in 1913.
Tracy has had many amazing experiences in the education arena. Her drive and passion for continuous improvement at the classroom, building, and district level led her to school improvement. She is always ready to be challenged, and each day she comes to Escambia County Schools excited to promote Excellence in Education: Every Child; Every Day!
